I can't get used to Pierce

Post Body

I'm on like my 10th watch of the show and I just can't get over my hate for Pierce. Like I get that he is supposed to be a heel and how there are places to sypmathize with him. Its just too much. Like half the episodes, in season 2 especially, he is the problem. I see how he could be a great character but there's too much attention on his flaws. He just comes off feeling like a flat out villain and his few redeemable moments don't nearly make up for the HEINOUS things he has done to the study group. And to top it off he never grows or gets better. Not once does he ever seem to understand what he's done or accept the things he has done as his own mistakes. He is just occasionally a decent guy when it's convenient for him. I think I'd enjoy Pierce as character substantially more if he actually got his comeuppance. Even just showing him feeling a little bit of guilt for the things he did to the study group would make him so much more bearable. Even if that guilt got misconstrued into him being an ass still. But no, he is just awful. If you read this thanks for indulging in my rant. Wanted to get that off my chest.

Just wanted to throw it out there as I respond to comments. I harbor absolutely no I'll will to any whose opinions differ from mine I'm just indulging in this topic.
