I am an active duty American soldier but I've also applied officially to be discharged as a conscientous Objector. After studying socialism and reflecting upon the choices I have made I have come to realize that personally contributing to imperialist war is wrong. I also want to join a communist/socialist organization to begin to build a better world, get involved, and work to undo the harm I've caused by enlisting in the imperialist army. Are there any good.orgs in Kansas to look into? How would they view someone on active duty? I've applied for discharge and made my views publicly known so I'm just waiting until they process my discharge.
