All over the world we have comrades fighting western Imperialism, they don't get to choose whether or not they want to get organized and sacrifice themselves for the revolution. Neither should we. Even if you believe it's too early to actively fight capitalism in the west, you need to organize, to show solidarity with our class brothers to in the rest of the world. It's not enough to be inactive for three years, and then come election start shouting about how everyone has to vote to get some Imperialist, who is only slightly more palatable for the liberals, elected. You need to join an organization, and of there isn't one near you, you need to start one. If you don't do anything to aid the revolution in whatever form or stage it is in where you live, you shouldn't call yourself a comrade.
I agree with this to an extent, but we also have to acknowledge the unstable history of left organizations and the negatives that come along with it. I was in a recently dissolved org (if ya know ya know) and it was absolutely awful, a complete abuse of power and a circle jerk social club. Just some food for thought.
