Taking Comlex 3 before residency + study recommendations/timeline from others who took it
Post Body

Hey 4th year DO student. Already matched (non-NRMP specialty)and finished my rotation requirements. So ya boy has until June/July to do as I please. Planning on doing this early or mid June.

Historically mid/low tier test scorer. Haven’t touched or seen medicine/primary care stuff in 1.5-2yrs

Step 1 230 (right before converting to P/F) step 2 234 😬 Comlex 1 585 Comlex 2 484 🫠🥴😪

Really looking for resources that match the COMLEX 3 stylistically (how the questions look, how they are written, etc.) Resources I’ve heard are decent 1) comquest 2) comsae (for assessment) 3) cdm cases

i need to revisit some medicine concepts I haven’t seen since 2022 so I’ll get UW for 3mo.

TrueLearn seemed less helpful for comlex 2 (my school gave us TrueLearn free).

Any help or recommendations (study timelines, higher vs lower yield topics, good omm/ethics/biostats sources, etc.) would be greatly appreciated.

Good luck to the rest of my fellow 4th yr DOs!! You will land exactly where you’re suppose to (hard to believe when they said it to me 100x before match but it’s true!!!)
