I (35M) am attracted to men and have been mostly in the closet for probably around 10 years or so (minus a select few people that know). I have a partner of a few years that has been incredibly patient but understandably uncomfortable with continuing to be referred to as "my friend". I have been talking about fully coming out for years but have always found reasons to back down (even if the reason is "it just doesn't feel like the right time"). Anywho, I am thinking about taking the plunge starting with my parents next week.

Not necessarily looking for advice but it has been a long time coming so mostly just trying this on for size.
