From what I've read, for an asm 238 missing the tattooz insert CGC will give it a qualified(green) label, but not dock the grade. CBCS will give a normal blue label but dock the grade as not being complete. Does anyone have any idea how far that would lower it? Recently bought 2 copies, one probably about a 5.0 due to top staple being separated when someone removed the insert most likely, other being probably around a 7.0 but no insert.

Would prefer not getting a qualified label, although I am getting the higher grade one witnessed and signed at a con this fall when I send some other books off. However, would rather that than a miserable grade due to the insert missing from cbcs.

Just to note : this is for my PC, I'm not worried much about resale value, although I know this book being a qualified label isn't affected as much for resale than other books since it's so common to have the insert removed.
