I may not read a lot of comics but I did come across reading one of the bad Batman universes (warning, been a while since I’ve read it so forgive if it’s not word for word).

The one I’m talking about how the young Bruce Wayne receives a green lantern ring while chasing the man who just killed his parents. It talked about how the ring mistaken his emotions (not manipulate him if my wording confuses anyone) then Bruce used the ring to kill the man.

Why couldn’t he have received a red lantern ring instead of green, wouldn’t that make more sense? Like Dex-Star, the red lantern cat’s origin.
