So I've got a few of the oversized preview or uncorrected proof copies of some DC books that came out around 1994. I was cataloging them for my collection and realized I had two different types of the Starman preview.
One of them has the traditional folded comic book binding and the pages are printed front and back. I also have a Zero Hour, Fate, and Manhunter preview like this.
The other one is thicker because the pages are printed on the front only. It's not stapled like a normal comic book, but the pages are stacked and bound with a plastic, Quick Bind binding. I've got a Golden Age preview and Stuck Rubber Baby preview like this.
The covers to both of the different Starman previews seem to be the same color and the same card stock.
Are there two types of these previews? Is the one with the Quick Bind binding just bound-together copies of the other one (while the page sizes are the same, the interior images are smaller)?
