A Newbie Question on Storage
Post Body

How important is storing books "bagged and boarded"?

I have a growing collection of books, and when I have ordered some online they have come in bags with cardboard backings. I can understand that this would be an ideal way to prevent damage and deterioration over time, and I will keep some of the older issues I have (a couple from the late '80s) in them. I'm not sure if I should go out and get bags for my newer issues though. Is is worth it for issues I buy new at my local store?
