Sup, I'm the guy who ask stupid ass questions and here's another question.
I'm assuming everyone here has seen the Supergirl "First Look"? Remember how tedious the first two minutes were? Anyway up front it's obvious that it's taking from the past "Girl" shows behind it with the "You Go Girl"! type of background music, how awkward and how "QUIRKY"! Kara is being portrayed is obviously a retread of those types of "Girl" related media (C'mon you've seen the SNL Black Widow Short) but......................... isn't Clark Kent often portrayed that way (Well obviously without the blaring pop music in the background), when Christoper Reeves played Clark Kent, he was just oozing with dorky, clumsy, awkward oafishness. You saw how he bumped into those tables and desks, how he messed up those papers, how awkward he was with Lois. Now, if say someone was to do a re cut trailer of the first Superman movie exactly like the first look we got of the Supergirl TV Show, would redditors be calling it "Girl Show Retread"? Would we be complaining about how bumbling and dorky this guy is, and how it's an obvious ploy to attract a different audience?
