I've been collecting and reading for the past 5 weeks. It took me at least two weeks to muster up the courage to open a pull file. Which I'm glad I did because I'm receiving a 15% discount now. Last week was the first week that books from my list were released so I show up and he has an empty file. I said that's impossible because I have Death of Wolverine among others on my pull. Turns out he lost my pull file. He compensated me with a free Previews Woeld Guide and Marvel Preview Guide accompanied by an extra discount. This was appreciated, good customer service as far as I'm concerned. Mistakes happen. Well this week I show up for new comic day and there is a sign on the door stating that new releases will be in tomorrow. I inquired about whats up, I guess dude didn't have payment yesterday for the shipment. I overheard him on the phone last week taking about cash flow issues. Understandable the economy is rough on everyone. I really like this shop it's down the street and has great accommodating, friendly and helpful staff. I just wanted to know if this missed shipment thing is a somewhat common occurrence. I work nights and take Wednesday off to go to the shop. I won't be able to go till Sunday now and I'm bummed about it. I just want to know if I should look for a new shop, this is the only one in town which means I wold have to commute at least 20 minutes to the next nearest. Or I can let these slide and just chalk it up to though times/economy. Also he takes credit card info on the pull file. Is this common? Which concerned me when he lost his file because now there is a missing paper with my info on it floating around. Am I over reacting or to concerned?
TL;DR Shop fucked up twice in two week reason for concern or over reaction.
