Before going to a con, I like to go through all the creators that'll be in attendance and check out what they've done. I go through my collection, see what I've got, and what I'd like most to have signed.
When I first started doing this, the best place I could find to get the most-detailed checklist for a creator was comicbookdb.com. It was easy to use, pretty comprehensive, and easy to sort results. That shut down at the end of 2016 (I can't believe it's been that long).
Now I use comicvine.com, but the search results SUCK. By default the results are listed in appearance number order...most number of issues they've worked on for a title down to the lowest. You can't arrange it any other way. For me, the optimal arrangement would be to see all the titles in alphabetical order so I can easily scroll through my Excel spreadsheet rather than bouncing all over it. The site also repeats titles when you're clicking through the pages. As crappy as it is, as far as I know that's the best option I've got.
The only other option I'm aware of is comics.org. This is an okay site, but a lot of indy books don't have the creator information filled out, and even if a book's info is complete, not all of the creators are linked and searchable, so I KNOW I'm not seeing a complete checklist.
Does anyone have a place they go to for a comprehensive list of creators works?
