Earlier I was looking at a few comic books I've read before, like Watchmen, Sandman, and more recently, Lighter Than My Shadow (about eating disorder), wondering what is the best comic book or graphic novel I've read. I thought maybe I should limit it to books that came out in the last 20 years, to make it easier to decide.
The criteria I use are kind of subjective but it's some combination of great storytelling, beautiful art, meaningful theme, and just joy of reading.
Figured I'd ask people who have read way more comics than I have, so here we are.
Thanks for your input.
