What to wear as a light spring when 'winter is coming'?
Post Body

As a (softer) Light Spring, I love my wardrobe during the warmer seasons. It feels effortless to put together an outfit that truly feels like 'me' and makes me shine. However, as fall and winter approach, I find it much harder to dress in a way that doesn’t make me look 'dull.'

I love looks that are 'low contrast,' and while it's still possible to find a cashmere or wool jumper that complements my coloring (my favorite tones are buttercream, light turquoise or aqua, periwinkle, lilac, light pistachio, and salmon), I struggle to create an interesting head-to-toe look when it’s cold and rainy outside.

I now gravitate mostly toward navy in winter. My 'uniform' typically consists of a navy cashmere pullover with a boatneck or a wrap cardigan in the same color, paired with navy straight high-waisted trousers, a wide black belt, and high-heeled black boots, plus a cropped navy wool coat for when I go outside. It works, partly due to the gold-colored jewelry I wear with it, but since navy is not in my season, I don’t shine in it - and it sounds silly, but that affects my mood as well.

Do you have any tips on how I could 'shine in winter'? Any Light Spring influences, Pinterest boards, resources, or brands that could help me on this journey to make winter feel more 'light'?

Thanks for your help!
