First things first, before I waste your time, I’m 5’8. Ok, now that the shallow girls are gone, I’ll continue. Thank you to the 4 women who remain. I’ve never been married, I have no kids. Yes, I am 35, and No, I can’t say for sure if I want kids of my own or not. I can’t say for sure that I’d be ok with being a step parent. It will depend on the woman. I am sure I’ll know when I know. I’m not taking anything off the table. I hate to limit myself so early on in the post, but I’m not trying to say the right things, I’m saying the real things. I will adapt and evolve for the right person. It’s downhill from here, promise. If I lost you already, it’s for the best.

Alright, Marine corps veteran, nothing to write home about. My civilian career has been successful. Last year I started a small business on the side, which I am working my ass off to finance, so atm my full time job has my focus. You know the blue collar drill by now. Thanks tik tok. At work my hours vary depending on the season in my industry. The cold months being busy, the warm months being insanely busy. My alarm goes off at 4am, and I never know when my day will end. When I do get home I smell like diesel and smoke and and I’m filthy. I’m tired, all I want to do is eat dinner and go to bed. I make the most of the weekends. The Harley doesn’t come out of the garage as much as I’d like, but it prob would if I had a lady to put on the back of it though. So my job demands a lot of my time and effort. It’s not all bad though, I work with a great bunch of guys outside, usually with a view of the mountains. It’s rewarding, our projects directly impact the states infrastructure. And I am well compensated. I’ve been focused on my career for years and I’m right where I want to be, I’d really like to find the right person to take the next step with. Referring back to my Tinder comment, I’m too old for all this “no fast replying, make sure they know you have options, don’t give her too much attention” stuff. Been there done that. Not just trying to get laid here. I’m no Simp but if I like you, you’re gonna know it and If all that turns you off, I’m not the one.

You may be wondering, w me being in the trades, if I’m a drunk or an addict. I’m proud to say I left my irresponsible substance use in my 20’s. Wouldn’t change a thing. Had lots of fun and lots of lessons were learned.

Ok, ladies. Height does not matter to me, tall women are sexy. One drawback, goofy wedding photo. Short women are sexy. Drawback, who’s gonna be able to reach the top shelf in the pantry? I’m not in here looking for fitness models but HWP, be healthy and take care of yourself. Race and age really don’t matter to me, tho I’ll say I’d prefer within 10 years one way or the other. Over 45? Open for discussion. Bet that credit score is sexy. Under 25? Eh, Unlikely. Trying to be a groom, not a groomer. Shoot your shot or whatever, but I’m sure there’s lots of other nice 35 guys out there that will tell people you’re really mature for your age. Someday you’ll see it.

I’ve been in more than a few “serious” LTR’s, won’t go into great detail here but they all ended obviously, and for reasons that were both my fault, and not my fault. Hope they’re happy wherever they are now, I wouldn’t know. I won’t make the same mistakes in a relationship again. Anyways, I was raised old fashioned. Taught how to be a gentleman in the 90’s. Times are constantly changing, but I’m never going to stop opening doors for women. I’ll die on that hill. But I was also taught that a man should be more or less the sole provider and supporter of their family. I should mention segregation was still a thing when my folks were in high school. So if you are driven, have purpose, a great job* you love, or even hate for that matter, and do well financially, it’s not gonna make me feel like any less of a man. Quite the opposite, my manhood definitely, um, increases when I’m in the presence of motivated, successful women. That’s the type of partner I want to build with. Now, If you’re drop dead gorgeous, unmotivated and content with being less than great, there’s definetly someone out there for you. But it’s not me.

Mental toughness. Many close friends in the industry and I have nothing but respect for how hard they work, not to mention the financial security.
