I'm just chilling and watching hockey, despite the unappetizing lineup today. I'd really like to find a friend. I'm looking for something long-term and real! Hopefully you want the same. I'm a bit sleep deprived because I was going to work OT today. That required completely flipping my sleep schedule, which is getting more difficult these days. I decided not to go in because (among other things) the Avalanche didn't play until 7pm yesterday, which meant I could either watch the game OR wake up at 02:45am for overtime. I chose to watch the game. It was definitely the right choice haha!

Anyways, about me I suppose? I'm 33 and a Colorado Native^1. The ¹ is that I was like 6 when my parents dragged me out here and I had no say whatsoever in the decision, obviously LOL. I like some nerdy/geeky stuff (sci-fi and fantasy books/movies/games, Lego) and some not so nerdy stuff (hockey, working on cars/machines). Music I'm currently exploring is early 2000's French girl-pop and death-metal. I'd say my "favorite" genres are punk and steampunk though. I'm currently trying to learn Ukrianian (duolingo Pro dude! 365 days!) and general college chemistry. I'm currently teaching myself because I had to take the semester off from community college thanks to work and moving to a new place.

I don't know how to describe my personality, or what a personality really even is to be completely honest. You're welcome to look at my post history for a bit of a taste. I will say that I enjoy dark/gallows humor and my sense of humor is "dry." I created this account recently specifically for the r4r type subs...I didn't know r4r had age/karma requirements though. It's all good I'll just keep participating around other places. I really want to meet people locally anyway so we can actually hang out IRL.
