I start my prep Tuesday afternoon for procedure on Wednesday - Plenvu is the prescribed prep, and this is my 1st colonoscopy. 1st dose is “between 3-6pm” - I’ll probably start at 3…..I have no other plans for the afternoon and evening anyway. The 2nd dose is “4 hours before you leave home for the procedure”. My arrival time is 8am, and we’ll probably leave around 7am, so I figure 3am for that dose (and then NPO after 5am). My question is this - how long does that 2nd dose “stay working”? I’m trying to plan out showering, etc before we leave the house. Any advice is much appreciated.

For Round 1, I’m stocked up on Gatorade, lemonade, ginger ale, jello, and such. Kindle will be fully charged as well.
