I go Eastern Connecticut State University. It's a rather small public college with not much of a party scene (which I'm fairly comfortable with). I've done well academically, despite starting college during Covid which I'm proud of. (I made the Dean's List both semesters last year!) However, I'm in my junior year and I still haven't made many friends. These first few weekends of the I've spent in my dorm just messing around on my computer and chilling by myself. I went to go visit a female friend in her hall and hung out for a few hours last weekend but that's been the extent of me "going out" so far. Long story short, am I wasting my time in college by not having that many friends to do things with? Should I put in more effort in making friends and acquaintances? My roommates are cool but we all kind of do our own thing and don't see each often. Some advice would be appreciated.
