I’m new to this subreddit so after reading the rules I don’t think i’m breaking anything but if I am please let me know and I’ll remove the post. So i’m 18 years old and I finished a year of online-only community college due to the pandemic. I can’t really say i enjoyed my experience too much but my grades were very good for both the fall and spring semester, 3.75 and 3.94 GPA for both respectively. Thing is though, I did almost all Gen Ed requirements and now when I need to start picking classes for a major, I’m stuck.
Since high school, I was interested in engineering but math also happens to be the subject i’m worst at so I guess in college i put it off and wanted to do a bit of career exploration. Well since i did only online that didn’t really happen. I always went in with the intention of transferring so after doing research I thought about applying to transfer to my local state university for the Spring 2022 semester that accepts a great amount of credits I already did. I already pay thousands a semester for community college due to the lack of aid available so I felt like if i didn’t already know what to do and i was already paying a lot, it wouldn’t hurt to see if I see if i’m awarded any financial aid or scholarship afterwards. So I just wanted to see if i’m being delusional or anything from those who likely know a lot about college decisions more then me.
