Hello, I'm still an English undergrad but I'm thinking about graduate school as an avenue for a deeper understanding of 20th and 21st century literature. Despite my searching, most English lit. Grad-Schools seem to focus on providing a generalist approach to literature (not unlike the undergrad). So, instead of anything specific, they tend to offer a variety of courses about different eras and sub-disciplines. In your view, what are the best schools for studying Modern/Postmodern lit. (Ideally with a secondary focus on Literary Theory) ?
