This happened yesterday but a little backstory never hurts.

Names will be withheld just in case their here.

I was in a class where the professor told us about our final assignment would be a group project months ago. Before spring break for sure can't remember the exact date. He repeatedly told us it would be hard to do by ourselves. He opened up a page on the class site/page for us to post our names and ideas looking for a group. Since 90% of the class never showed up in person but did zoom I was sure to stand by the door and hand out my name and ideas on paper. None of the 7 people in class stopped.

I told the professor I highly doubted they would do anything and most had the look of they were going to drop so I would start working on the project myself. If someone magically realized they needed a group I would be ok with them joining. In every class the professor asked us if we had a group what we was working on. Besides me 2 other people had formed a group and was thinking about ideas.

Finally about 4 weeks ago he said this is it. 1 week 1 week turn in your ideas and group members or you will fail the assignment.

All but me and 3 people in class panicked. I get back and look at my emails 20 or so people from class looking for a group any group whatever they need it, blah blah etc.

I pick out 3, sit up a messager app. I'm doing 99% of the posting whatever I already started on it. In the 4 weeks they only post 2 times. I email them my work no response whatever my grade not theirs I've been screenshotting everything.

Then yesterday 5 hours to go the only thing left is to double check everything is correct, submit and pick out what parts we would be presenting. One of my group members throws a temper tantrum and leaves the group. Let's call them BGM. Im thinking this person is just venting and will be back. Nope BGM emails the professor saying BGM wants to work my BGMself.

I found that out after the professor emailed me asking what happened. Me, BGM and the professor emails back and forth. Professor wanting to work out a solution he is clearly annoyed, I'm annoyed cause I have no idea what's going on, BGM is just copy and pasting that BGM wants to work by BSMself.

Finally BGM stops emailing altogether.

Whatever I finish up with my group take BGM's name off the project and submit.
