Would it be wrong to ask her for a letter of rec?

I really want to apply for transfer to nyu but need an academic letter of rec. And there is only one professor who I know well enough to ask. She wrote one for me last year, but I haven’t spoken to her since then. Would it be weird or wrong to email her about submitting the same/a letter of rec to nyu?
