Spring Enrollment

Good Morning, so im a freshman in college. I was planning to start this fall but due to everything going on and money problems I want to move to spring. I emailed my advisor and stuff but I want to know sooner. Since I did get accepted and I do start for fall but I want to change for spring. Do I need to drop my classes and sign up but I cant find any spring classes open. Do enrollments for spring semester start halfway fall semester or how does it work for you all, thank you !
