I don’t want to go back to college
Post Body

I’ve finished my first semester of college, and in all honesty it’s been miserable experience. I’ve been so lonely and miserable for most of the time to the point where I began seeing a counselor, I’m struggling academically, I absolutely hate it and will never understand why others call college the best time in their lives. I’m not even sure if what I’m doing is even going to matter to me. Most of the people I’ve spoken to think what I’m experiencing is normal. Based on what my friends are experiencing I don’t think transferring will solve most of my issues either. I’m an international student studying in a private university in the United States, so even if I manage to stay home, I know I’ll be looked down upon and will surely anger my parents and most of the people who believed in me, but if that does happen I don’t know what else I could do. Is anyone else experiencing this? I could definitely use some advice on what I should do
