How to survive intermediate algebra after only taking special ed math in high school?

Post Body

Ok so, it might just be fear of going to college, but I am freaking out.

Throughout middle and high school, I was only ever in special ed math.

With all other classes I did perfectly fine ( was even in advanced English and AP history classes), but the one time I was put into a common core Algebra class I flunked and it was removed from my transcript.

On the SATS I got lucky and I was never given a placement type test like my high school said I would be given.

According to my college, they put me in the best class for SAT score and high school grades.

I got all B's and A's in my special ed class because it was the very very basics and not taught in the same way as the other classes.

It was far behind what the regular math classes were teaching.

My mom is saying all I need to do is take advanced of tutoring.

But I'm honestly scared that I'm going to fuck up my first semester. All my classes can't be changed at this point without withdrawing.

Any advice form anyone who has had a similar situation?

Thank you!
