Hi guys, I recently got accepted into Georgia State and RIT. My top choice is Rose-Hulman, but I got deferred ( If i get accepted later, i'm definitely going there.) For now, I have to choose between the first two for a computer science program. With Georgia State, it'd be inexpensive, but their computer science program sucks. I would transfer my sophomore year to Georgia Tech. The only problem with that is that I could get rejected from Georgia Tech and be stuck at Georgia State.
RIT is more expensive and their program is good, but the only thing is when i visited, the first impression with their campus was not too great. And it's in the middle of nowheresville. I only hear good things about RIT though. The people (i met) are nice and I really like the emphasis on co-ops.
The thing that matters most to me when choosing a college is the academic rigour. To me, not much else matters. Is there any advice you guys can give me about choosing between these two colleges?
TL;DR: I have to choose between GA State and RIT for computer science; I hate GA State but i'll transfer to GA Tech; RIT is good but a little expensive and campus isn't too appealing. Do you have any advice for me?
