So after reading and reading about chest freezer conversions the big take away is: Safety and making sure to unplug prior to use and also being undersized in terms of compressor to water chill.
I get the sealing part and all that.
So in that case if I run my deep freezer at 30f full of water and then when I want to use it what if: I add another external chiller/pump unit to it to circulate and keep water chill during use?
Seems like a no brainer but also why not oversize your cooling capacity and get ice formed from the freezer but external chill and circulation during use.. like a poor manβs morozko plunge. Any thoughts ?
