1946 Wheat Penny; is this a strikethrough error on the reverse?

The "4" on the date also seems funky compared to my other pennies, but I don't have any others of the same year to compare it to. I'm new to this stuff and was just going through all my cash tips from the past month looking for errors!

On the reverse side, "United" seems to have a big strikethrough. Is this just damage, or is it a dye error? I'd love to learn anything I can about this, thanks!
