I am relatively new to the world of coins. I have a giant change that I am about to cash in, but after reading some of these posts, I am terrified that I’m going to get rid of some thing amazing. Short of literally checking each and every coin, is there a way for people like me that aren’t super knowledgeable to have a brief overview of what to look for? I’m a single mom, working two jobs, so quick and efficient is a big plus.
Also, I inherited a ton of my grandpa‘s coins. There are a lot of Morgan silver dollars and wheat pennies and Buffalo nickels and on and on and on. All things from the late 1800s and early 1900s. I took them to a lady that I knew but she didn’t really seem to know what she was doing. Can anyone point me in the right direction to a place in southwest Florida that might be able to help me? I don’t think I could get rid of any of them, but I would at least like to know what I have.
