Is an administered Mensa test a good way to get an IQ estimation? Even if you aren’t sure you will get in

I really want to take an in real life IQ test

I have a group mensa near me that I am going to purchase. But I don’t think I will get in. Is it still good to go if I just simply wanted to see where my intelligence stands?

I mean I think there’s maybe a 20% chance I get in

What does Mensa give you in terms of results? I see you mostly just get to see your percentage but nothing else

It is better than going through a psychologist? I don’t exactly have the money for that. and I feel like it’s a bit harder to find a psychologist
