Hello, I'm trying to join Mensa and I want to take the RAIT. I got a 140 in symbol search on the CAIT and I've heard the test is processing speed.
I get mid to upper mid 50s out of 80 on American Mensa practice test
I got 128 on Mensa DK, 138 on Mensa Norway, and a 143 or so on the ravens 2. I also remember getting a 135 on some other nonverbal test here.
I'm in university right now for calc II and I understand fairly difficult number sequences.
I'm a bit worried about crystalized intelligence as I live under not a rock, but a nuclear bunker when it comes to things.
Questions:
So is the RAIT difficult? Is the crystalized section very difficult with vocabulary? What's the fluid and quantitative sections like and is it like the American Mensa test with actual figures (like compare the pictures and select which picture is most relevant)?
Is the test mostly about processing speed? That's what I hear.
Do I have a good chance based on my scores of getting at or above the 98th percentile on at least one subtest? (Hopefully all 3)
