I was chatting with someone on CMB the other day and I asked her if she wanted to meet up for a drink. I didn’t get a reply, so I figured I’d just leave it there. The next day I got a message from her asking how my day was going, we started chatting again, and I asked her out for dinner. She said yes and we switched to txts and met up.

All went well and I later brought up having had to ask her out twice, and she sent me a screenshot of our conversation where she had said “Sure!” to my previous invitation, making me look like the jerk who left her hanging.

Has anyone else experienced this? It very easily could have led to us not meeting.

I’ve rebooted the app and everything, it’s simply not in my copy of the conversation. I’ve seen delayed messages on other apps, where a refresh or reboot brings them up.
