Hey!
So for context we are throwing a 90s themed party where I'll be representing The Dude.
However, my fiancee and a lot of our friends are vegan or otherwise lactose intolerant.
Any suggestions for a dairy free substitute for this one? Most of the recipes I've found call for soy milk but I've a hard time believing that'll taste close to the real thing - my fiancee at least is not a fan of soy.
I was considering coconut milk or cashew cream but wanted to hear if anyone has any experience with substituting milk in cocktails - both considering flavour and texture.
Any ideas?
