Hey y’all. So I’m not much of a cocktail guy but I would like to be, I kinda just mix a bit of whatever with whatever makes it taste better and down it. I have this huge bottle of distilled Chinese liquor, I bought it at a corner store somehow while nothing else was open, and now I have no idea how to drink it because it has this sort of pungent fruity taste that is worse than any liquor I’ve ever tasted. A bit of research told me that baijiu/shaojiu is the most drank liquor in China, making it really up there as one of the most popular liquors in the world. I’m determined to find a way to enjoy it, even if just to get the bottle off my hands and onto something better. Anyone tried any good mixes involving this liquor? Or generally, any suggestions for a chase beverage that can take down the worst of liquor flavours? Thanks in advance!
