Beer cocktails without a bar?
Post Body

Okay, so Iā€™m going to a wedding later this month. Beer and wine at the reception, not a problem (although I donā€™t think they can call that one hour a ā€œcocktailā€ hour...).

Itā€™s outside and I anticipate it being hot and I anticipate preferring beer but the only beers they are going to have are Miller light, Coors light, and Bud light.

No Iā€™m not joking.

So Iā€™m thinking about something I could mix up and bring with me to put in the beer to make it less awful. The bride has already said sheā€™s fine with car-bars, but I really donā€™t want to haul anything. Her brother may or may not be threatening to do tequila tastings from his trunk...

I was thinking about mixing up everything for a michelada and just pouring it into the beer bottles? Or my ex made something called summer beer with frozen limeade concentrate and vodka, but I canā€™t figure how to make that more shelf stable.

Any ideas?
