Inspired by this weirdness, I made a rather strange concoction.
Spec:
- 60 ml. 10 y.o. malt whisky
- 30 ml. Grand Marnier
- 15 ml. Yellow Chartreuse
Stir with ice. Strain into a chilled coupe.
My version doesn’t need a single malt. I’m very unsure if the original Campbeltown needs, a rather expensive, Springbank. My first instinct was to swap the Heering for Maraschino, but I wanted something to match the yellow Chartreuse better.
I feel like this would be so much better w clear spirits. I’m thinking a corn whiskey but then we will be missing complexity so perhaps a light repo, Socorro? They also have clear orange liqueur named Jalisco…. Hmmm

1oz Jalisco
.75 chartreuse
Imma try this tomorrow. I’ve only got green tho :/ i fwwl yellow would be key here
