Post Body

Inspired by this weirdness, I made a rather strange concoction.

Spec:

  • 60 ml. 10 y.o. malt whisky
  • 30 ml. Grand Marnier
  • 15 ml. Yellow Chartreuse

Stir with ice. Strain into a chilled coupe.

My version doesn’t need a single malt. I’m very unsure if the original Campbeltown needs, a rather expensive, Springbank. My first instinct was to swap the Heering for Maraschino, but I wanted something to match the yellow Chartreuse better.

I feel like this would be so much better w clear spirits. I’m thinking a corn whiskey but then we will be missing complexity so perhaps a light repo, Socorro? They also have clear orange liqueur named Jalisco…. Hmmm

2oz Socorro repo

1oz Jalisco

.75 chartreuse

Imma try this tomorrow. I’ve only got green tho :/ i fwwl yellow would be key here
