Looking for tips. I purchased my ring from Tokyo Valentino and it was a nice smooth and shiny ring. Felt incredible. You can view it on my profile.

Lately, I felt it not feel as smooth or look as polished/shiny and I could feel it sticking a little more to my skin each time. Yesterday I had to take it off when it started getting uncomfortable and noticed it peeled/cut my skin a little. I had been wearing it all day long for several days and would clean it daily with hot water and soap and then dry it immediately. Any thoughts on what's going on with it? Maybe I did something wrong? Wrong quality? I know it's metal but no idea what it's made with as it was in a glass locked shelf and the store associate didn't know much.

Any help is greatly appreciated! I feel weird not having it on anymore!
