Is there any particular way to wear a cock ring that would help delay ejaculation?

In not new to using rings, have been using them for a few years now. I love the extra girth that they give when I wear one. However I was wondering if there is a certain position to put it in or way to wear them that might delay ejaculation? As I've gotten older my stamina has dropped and I'm tired of only last a minute or two during sex.
Any advice would be appreciated.
