İs taking the ball and not giving it back and teasing us to take it back a game for her?

My dog loves doing that. She gets the ball, makes growling sounds and runs around but If I stop she comes back with ball and teases me again. This means it is a game right? She just makes so loud sounds we sometimes think maybe we are forcing too much while taking the ball back but she wiggles her tail so fast so she looks like she is enjoying it. Anyone elses cocker does the same?
