Why does my bird bite me while petting

So basically I trained her to know when I ask for permission to pet by moving my index and thumb up and down, usually she’ll respond by lowering her head almost bowing kinda and allowing me to pet her. But then she’d go at my finger for 2 seconds while I’m petting and then she’d lower her head again. Does anyone know if this means anything? Should I stop? Am I discomforting her ? Thanks in advance guys
