So I rescued this bird from the neighbors and it’s been through hell basically this really nice old lady has some not so nice sons. They used to leave the bird cage on the floor and have pit bulls bark and snap at the cage causing the bird to go crazy, and as a result Larry(the birds dope new name) hates humans every time Anyone goes near his cage he hisses every time I change the water he snaps at me and will occasionally bite/nibble on me it’s kinda cute but I know he’s trying his best to hurt me lol. How do I get this bird to trust humans again I can’t really take the bird out the cage for outside time Without violating his space/boundaries he’s got in place at the moment. I’ve had birds before but never one this untrusting and hurt.
