there was one time i “lost” my lovebird in my parents bathroom, i leaned down while he was on my shoulder so i could clean the dirt off of my slides in the bathtub, and he flew off. it sounded like he flew behind me so i looked EVERYWHERE in my dads closet, in the little toilet room, i mean EVERYWHERE. turns out he was literally right above where i was looking and sitting on the towel rack smh
