I am fascinated by harm reduction and methods to obtain as pure of a product as is reasonably possible for the average Joe. I've been reading up on wash methods for removing various cuts and/or biproducts. As far as I understand, there isn't one wash that will remove everything since some unwanted chemicals are hydrophobic and some are hydrophillic. So which washes are best and why?
I saw this thread as the closest to this discussion, but it wasn't near complete enough for me. https://www.reddit.com/r/cocaine/comments/28wok3/i_have_a_question_or_two_about_the_various_types/
It appears that maybe an acetone then cholorform wash is the best best results for average Joe's skills and efforts...?
Also, which teks for the best washes do you recommend. Its hard to find up to date information on these questions from general searches.
