Quick Question from newbie in town

Just a quick question and I hope it’s not out of bounds…I just moved to a large city and do not have a reliable plug…there have been a few offers randomly off of Reddit (not this group)…would you trust them or should I just go about it the old school way (trolling clubs)? I hear about everyone getting scammed with SW’s and hook-ups…thoughts?
