Question about using in public

What are your thoughts on the subject. For example I just ripped a fat line sitting at the bus stop right next to this dude without saying a word. I was gonna ask if he minded but pussed out. He obviously knew wtf I was doing and after I ripped it I looked out my peripherals and he was silently chuckling
