Advice needed on blood pressure meds… genuinely asking for a mate

So swin but a good mate with wants to participate in the evenings apéritif’s but they take meds for high bp They’re relatively fresh to being on these but I am not willing to let them partake without first checking it won’t cause serious harm or if there’s any possibility of adverse effects. Anyone able to advise please feel free to pm it would be greatly appreciated
