Since this quesion is posted here every day, here is the answer.
Cocaine hydrochloride ("cocaine/coke") requires high temperatures to vaporize; high enough that in practice much of the product will burn/decompose and be wasted. Hydrochloride needs to be "cooked" into freebase form to allow for vaporization to work. That's why you hear of people "smoking crack" not "smoking coke".

Even with cocaine freebase, literally smoking it with weed and a direct flame would be massively wasteful and probably barely produce any effects. It needs to be indirectly heated and vaporized (not technically smoked) to work well. So you need a crack pipe (superficially similar to a lightbulb).
