Looking for advice/ pointers from well the well seasoned skiers of the slopes.

I recently started taping one one of my straw to make the outside diameter bigger to make a seal when I put it up in my nostril opening. I find I don’t need to sniff as hard and if I start to get a little stuffed up it is easier to stay hitting the slopes. Just wondering if this is a good idea or not. Any snooter device ideas would be greatly appreciated! Cheers and happy skiing! ⛷️
