I Know I sound weird but hear me out. I noticed how everyone who enters Cobra Kai become better and stronger at first.
Eli and Miguel had a worse time before entering Cobra Kai, but then became strong and confident. Then comes the eventual drawbacks, Eli becomes a bully and then even depressed. Similar with Miguel, bully and then ended up in a wheelchair.
Terry and Johnny are ex-user in this metaphor, Johnny's life sucks because he was in Cobra Kai as a teen(very much an oversimplification I know) Then he starts it again and everything is great for a time, then again the drawbacks, he seems to grow more and more distant from his son, his adoptive son ends up in a wheelchair chair and he becomes depressed.
I don't think I have to elaborate on Kenny.
Silver overcame his addiction, but once Kreese waves the metaphorical bag of Cobra Kai he can't resist it, after that he falls into the same patterns as he did 30 years ago.
I guess Kreese could be seen as a dealer who is also a user, as his life also eventually falls into shambles after Cobra Kai.
I Know the creators probably didn't intend it to be a metaphor for it, but I still find it Interesting.
Any thoughts?
