Ok. So at the conclusion of S4 we saw Daniel talking to Miyagi, and the appearance of Chozen in order to assist Daniel in taking on Silver, Cobra Kai etc. This directly implied that Daniel was motivated and inspired to continue his battle, and thus the viewer would assume this would directly transition into S5.

However... in the S5 trailer we see Daniel, a beaten man, throwing the cover over the Miyagi Do sign, and explaining to Sam/Students he was shutting down the dojo forever etc...

So I personally think that particular scene happens directly AFTER the tournament, and then following that, he may reconsider, find the motivation etc and go to Miyagi's grave to seek guidance when he is approached by Chozen etc..

So from a purely Chronological standpoint, that would make sense right.

What I'm trying to work out but, is in that same Daniel/Sam scene Daniel says "With Johnny gone, its on me etc" (cut to Johnny driving his Uber around like a maniac).

So this obviously doesn't work with my theory of these events happening right after the tournament, because you would naturally think that Johnnny's main priority would be finding Miguel etc...

Can anyone assist here.
